My wonderful parents bought me my first, professional camera for Christmas in 9th grade and that is where the passion began. For years, I took my camera with me everywhere I went. Bringing it to high school sporting events, I quickly became everyones 'go-to' senior portrait photographer. The love for my camera continued throughout college, capturing many personal memories at ADPi sorority events and parties with friends. In January of 2023, I decided my love for photography and meeting new people could be turned into a business venture, so I created Taylor Taken Photos. This idea blossomed into capturing college graduation pictures, surprise proposals, engagement shoots, and weddings. I have been blessed beyond measure with this creative outlet and cannot wait to see where my camera takes me next!

I am from Olive Branch, Mississippi and absolutely love to travel - invite me somewhere fun to photograph you and I am there. I graduated fro m the University of Mississippi in 2021 and again in 2023, earning a masters degree in speech pathology - Hotty Toddy!! Outside of running Taylor Taken Photos, I am a full time speech language pathologist, specializing in pediatrics and I love how creative I get to be with the kids I serve daily. I have a passion for people and you will find that I LOVE to talk, so I think it is the perfect career for me!
When I am not working you can find me listening to Taylor Swift or any celebrity gossip podcast, antique shopping, taking pilates class or playing with my dogs! What more could a girl ask for?
Photography has taken me plenty of places across the United States but I will never forget home and the important lessons it has taught me! Growing up in the south, I have come to realize how important traditions and nostalgia are. Both of which are interwoven into photography, no matter where you travel or who you meet. Your moments and traditions are significant to the legacy you leave. And they deserve to be documented with care, honesty, and a timeless touch! I would love nothing more than to capture your life's story from the little details to the big moments!
